Peter DuBois
Peter DuBois serves as Director of Music/Organist at Third Church in Rochester. In addition he is the Director of the Sacred Music Diploma Program at the Eastman School of Music.
Peter brings over thirty years experience as a practicing church musician, choral conductor and concert organist to his work on With Heart and Voice. He feels privileged to share the richness of the sacred music repertory with his audience – a tradition that was established with such passion by Richard Gladwell, creator of With Heart and Voice, who passed away on October 15, 2009.
Peter holds degrees in organ performance from the Eastman School and the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, studying with David Craighead and Robert Glasgow, respectively. Additional study has been with Marie-Claire Alain, Marie-Louise Langlais, and Philippe Lefebvre.
Peter maintains an active performing career, with recitals throughout the United States and abroad, including performances at St. Paul’s Cathedral, London; Notre-Dame de Paris; and the Basilica of Ste. Clotilde in Paris.

The program, hosted by Peter DuBois, celebrates the seasons of the liturgical year and focuses on the richness and beauty of sacred music. With Heart and Voice began as a local Sunday morning program on WXXI-FM in 1975, and has been broadcast nationally since 1989.
